With on stage/ performing my new single/ Song titled AROUND THE WORLD 🎙️ There is a unique sweetness in expressing love in my native dialect that English just can’t replicate. My native language is the foundation of my identity and how I connect to my roots. So proud of my heritage and the rich, beautiful language passed down to me. There is no place in my life that I felt a sense of belonging like my mom’s hometown Koribondo, located in the Bo district of Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 I visited Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 when I was 15 years old for my Grandmother’s funeral. The amazing thing about the town is the yam barns, the food and the river and I also love being among the people of this town. They love each other. My mom grew up in this town with her parents in a small house. 💯✔️ BLESSINGS🤲🏿 A special thanks to my Auntie for this delicious meal 🥘 🙏🏿😊 Yo!!! You just don’t know the feeling 🥰 Let’s eat guys.
