Well, we've had a few snow flurries in the area so far, but more significant snowfall can't be that far behind, right?

Fortunately, our friends at the Northampton Lions Club have their annual Ski & Skate Sale fundraiser coming up soon.

Our thanks to the Lions Club for their support of Valley Eye Radio.

Looking back to September, Valley Eye Radio and a great group of people had a wonderful time at the East Longmeadow Lions Club's Annual Picnic for the Visually Impaired.

We all enjoyed paninis from Hot Table, great desserts and music from Dave Pastore.

Our thanks as well to the East Longmeadow Lions Club for their generous donation to Valley Eye Radio. Your support is very much appreciated.

Our friends at Valley Community Development are excited to share about their Barriers to Insurability Grant Program, made possible by a $200,000 grant from the TD Charitable Foundation as part of their “Housing for Everyone” initiative.

This program provides grants of up to $15,000 to help low-and moderate-income homeowners complete essential repairs required by their homeowners’ insurance companies. With rising repair costs, many families and seniors risk losing coverage. This initiative helps preserve homeownership by addressing urgent repair needs, reducing defaults, and keeping families insured.

In addition to repair funding, homeowners will receive post-purchase counseling and budget planning support to help them stay insured and better prepare for future maintenance needs.
