A couple things I’ve done in the last week. Back on the air, when I moved the console, and monitors over by the computer, the AC hum went away, I’m guessing a front end overload. Received and started studying the SBC Radio Operator certification manual.

Been back on the air two days and just realized, I haven’t been at all. Transmitter appears to be functioning, but isn’t.

Going back on the air today after a week of being off the air due to transmitter and mixer difficulties. Still unable to get the automated software to link so it’s going to still be like 1980’s radio for a little while longer.

Parts finally came in today, hooked everything up and I have what sounds like a loud AC hum coming out of my monitors. I have two double TRS adapters plugged in the right and left main ports of my mixer. The right and left monitors are plugged in vertically, then plugged in the SW200, and the SW 200 right and left are plugged in vertically. Then the SW 200 is plugged in the transmitter.

This is the omnidirectional transmitting antenna I plan on getting next month.

Among a lot of other stuff, this RCA console was left in our warehouse when we bought it 8 years ago. I finally plugged it in yesterday. It probably needs a new left speaker, as its cracking, other than that, it works great. Playing is, 1120 AM, KMOX.
