I’m still feeling the weight of gratitude from final showcase night. 🥹
I’m proud of myself- not just for what I built, but for listening when God told me it was time to move. If I hadn’t trusted that nudge, I wouldn’t have met these people, at this time, in this way. No matter how hard things got, He saw me through. He made sure I had just enough… enough time, enough courage, enough voice (IYKYK) to show up fully for this program and the beautiful souls in it. He aligned me with the right mentors, gave me the words when I had none, and reminded me that my talents and my story were never just mine to keep or stay small.
I didn’t get a big check, but I absolutely walked away with a win. I found my community, I joined a powerhouse of creatives, and I got to help give a check and our services to a deserving local business as a kickoff to this next chapter. And the best part- my daughter was right there in the audience watching her mama finish what she started. I kept showing up for this program because I want her to know she can not only do hard things, but master them.
