An accent tells you where I came from, not my whole story.

I came to America completely on my own, long before I ever met my husband. I wasn’t running from a poor country — I was choosing a different life for myself and leaving behind an environment I knew I didn’t want to stay in.

I started over from scratch, built a family and a life I’m incredibly proud of, and somehow after 16 years… the accent decided it was coming along for the ride.

You never really know someone’s story from the way they sound. A little kindness goes a long way. 🤍

Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad 🥗

Ingredients:
1 oz of pasta
1 serving Real Good Foods Co. Dino nuggets
Chopped lettuce
A few cherry tomatoes, halved
Parmesan cheese
1-2 tbsp Marie’s Dressing Caesar dressing

Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and let cool. Spray with some avocado oil and salt it . Air fry chicken + pasta for 12-15 minutes at 400F until crispy!
Save this one for an easy school lunch idea! 🦕🍝

What my 5-year-old takes for private school lunch 🍱 Today’s main was homemade creamy chicken Alfredo 🍝 the lunch heater is from LunchEAZE and can be found in my storefront !

Creamy Chicken Alfredo
4 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ tsp minced garlic
⅛ tsp garlic powder
⅛ tsp Italian seasoning
Pinch of salt + pepper
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Cooked pasta + chicken

Cook pasta until al dente and reserve ½ cup pasta water. Melt butter, add cream, garlic + seasonings and gently simmer 3–4 minutes. Stir in Parmesan until smooth. Add a splash of pasta water if needed, then toss with pasta + chicken.
