And that’s okay.

The problem isn’t choosing family life. The problem is when we start judging other people’s life choices—whether they’re career-focused, family-focused, or somewhere in between.

I will never be mad at a dad who walks into the women’s restroom with his daughters. Never.

Little girls should not have to go into a men’s restroom alone, and most dads are simply doing what any good parent would do — keeping their children safe.

The man who made a scene over a father bringing his two daughters into the women’s restroom only embarrassed himself. All he accomplished was scaring two little girls.

As a woman, I have absolutely no issue with a dad bringing his young daughters into the women’s restroom. Leave dads and their daughters alone. They’re not there to make anyone uncomfortable — they’re there to take care of their children. And if that bothers you, maybe remember that the safety and well-being of kids should come before your temporary inconvenience.

🌶️ stuffed peppers are one of those easy dinners that always hit the spot! 🤍

recipe:
• 3 bell peppers, halved and seeded
• 1 lb lean ground beef
• 1 onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp salt
• 1½ tsp chili powder
• ½ tsp cumin
• ¼ tsp oregano
• 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
• 1 cup cooked rice
• 1½ cups shredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese

Roast peppers at 425°F for 20 minutes. Brown onion, garlic, and beef. Add seasonings and tomato sauce, then stir in rice and ¾ cup cheese. Fill peppers, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 10–15 more minutes until bubbly.

Unpopular opinion: Moms don’t need to “earn” getting their nails done. 💅

I see so many women apologizing for spending an hour on themselves or feeling guilty about a nail appointment.

Meanwhile, they’re raising kids, running a household, packing lunches, scheduling appointments, doing laundry, and making sure everyone else’s needs are met.

If Dad can golf, hunt, fish, watch football, or spend money on his hobbies without being called selfish, Mom can get her nails done without feeling guilty.

A fresh set of nails won’t change your life, but taking time for yourself once in a while just might.

If you’re waiting for a president, politician, or government program to magically fix your life, you’re probably going to be waiting a long time.

The cost of living has been climbing steadily for years, especially since COVID. No matter who’s in office, prices keep going up, and most families are still feeling it at the grocery store, gas pump, and everywhere in between.

At some point, you have to focus on what you can control—your finances, your skills, your career, your household. No politician is coming to save any of you 💔
