There are certain things I’ve officially decided I refuse to buy anymore because they’re SO easy to make at home… and usually way cheaper too. 🙌🏻 This is definitely one of them!

Now I’m thinking this could be a fun little series: Things I Refuse to Buy Anymore 😂

The first couple weeks back to school really highlight who the REAL MVP of the household is… the husband. 😂🏆

Because by 8pm, my teacher battery is at 0%, my brain has officially left the building, and if I sit down for longer than 30 seconds, I’m asleep. 😴

So shoutout to the husbands keeping the house running, handling bedtime, finding the missing things, and pretending not to notice that their teacher wives have become completely useless after dark. 🤣🫶🏻

Please tell me I’m not the only teacher currently fighting for my life by 7:30pm. 😂

I would like to formally submit my application to become a stay-at-home estate sale shopper. 😂🙋🏼‍♀️

My friend Nichole went estate sale shopping today and found the absolute MOTHERLODE of jadeite. 💚 And apparently my current employment situation is really getting in the way of my true calling.

The amount of self-control it took for me NOT to have her buy me every single casserole dish deserves to be recognized. 😭😂 I showed restraint…but now I’m sitting here wondering if I made a terrible mistake.

Be honest should I have just gone for it?! 👀💚

Sometimes after a stressful day at work, you don’t need therapy…you need to wander around a resale shop for 30 minutes. 😂🛒

Grace’s is one of my favorite Washington stops for vintage glass, quilts, clothes, shoes, and that little after-work dopamine hit. And since the inventory is always changing, I’m pretty sure that means I’m required to keep checking. 👀🤣

We are officially at the point in back-to-school season where I’m not entirely sure what day it is, my house is hanging on by a thread, and I’ve already thought about what I’m doing this weekend approximately 47 times. 🤣

I love being back with my students.

I also love my couch.

After one of the more stressful workdays of my career, it felt only appropriate to bring this one back. 😂🙃

For the record, my husband KNOWS teachers work their butts off… he just occasionally chooses the absolute worst combination of words at the absolute worst time. 🤣

And after today? This video hits a little differently. IYKYK. 😅🍎
