MY BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS CHRISTMAS LIST:
1. Health And Human Services
A 50,000 grant so that I can home school my children while our education system is transitioning.
2. Elderly
For the elderly to receive care packages that include audiobooks, movies, music, fruit, water aerobics and other activities that encourage longevity health and healing.
3. Women
A. Funds to add an exhibit of Local African American women artist activist and authors to Boston's museums
B. To construct or reconstruct a factory building for a employment of poor low income women and young mothers to earn a living assembling arts and crafts/gift baskets for sake and to have workshops on site that encourage the use of technology and career/business/entreprenual planning and life coaching
4.Education
A. To organize "The High Ground" Boston Book Club project. The main objective of this project will be to uplift and empower individuals most affected by conditions of Global Poverty and Neglect. To spearhead this healing literacy campaign, a Meet and Greet for at risk High School students and their families where the students will receive One Copy of "NonDisrespect", 2. "TheColdest Winter Ever", 3. "midnight AndThe Meaning of Love", 4. "midnight A Gangster Love Story", 5. "A Deeper Love Inside" all by Sister Souljah, 6. "Begging For Change" and 7. "Money Hungry" both by Sharon G. Flake (who I believe won a Coretta Scott King Award) and the parents will receive, 1. Reading Up Queens: Loving Our Daughters Loud And Strong, 2. From Trouble To High Places: Meditations For Women Who Are Do Ready To Cross, 3. Reinventing Your MotherSpace: Creating a Good and BlessedFuture for our children. Both groups will be organized into book clubs, members will read each selection and tell what they learned either by essay, art illustration, skit, etc. as a family and be rewarded with extra points and a special cash award or other wise the winner will receive an all expense paid for vacation for the whole family runner ups will also receive a prize all participants will receive a certificate and stipend for clothes, or books, or food.
B. Mr. & Mrs. Boston Public a Beauty Pageant - All Boston Public School participation by class, then grade, then group, then school. Each Class will have a Mr. And Mrs. , Each grade will have a Mr. And Mrs. Boston Public, each group (mr. And mrs. Kindergarten-k1-k2, mr and mrs elementary, mr. And mrs middle school, and mr. And mrs high school, winner of each will be me. And mrs. Boston students will demonstrate community service, and display their takers and write or perform what beauty means to them.
5. Life Sustaining LiteracyService Project
A. For one copy of The Essence Edition of 'Maya Angelou, Her Poetic Life & Phenomenal Journey given to Rosie's place women & women in family/detox/domestic violence shelters, group homes, juvenile detentions and prisons and women in elderly homes
B. One copy of Black amen In a their Own Words to be distributed to all Black Men from teenage to adult, in shelters, detoxes, juvenile detention center, group homes, and prisons and elderly homes.
C. One copy of 1. "Dear Oprah, I Bring New Life Volume: One, 2. Reading up Queens: Loving our daughters aloud And strong , 3. From trouble to high places : meditations for women who are so ready to cross, 4. Reinventing your MotherSpace: creating a hood and blessed future for our children to be purchased and distributed to all clinics, urban mental health facilities and hospital lobbied and labor and delivery patients, and university libraries, prisons, group homes, juvenile detention centers, shelters, detoxes, libraries including high school libraries all in Boston and Massachusetts.
D. One copy of the new movie Annie to be given to all orphanages and foster girls born in Boston
6. Construction
A. To build on the property of the George white stadium a private reform school university for at risk youth and young adults both in any housing complex/properties in Bromley Heath, academies, Mission Hill, orchard park, franklin hill, franklin field, Roxbury and Dorchester from 1990 until present complete with housing on site completely owned and operated by the university.
B. For the property of Clifford street be donated to P.A.C.E. Academy
C. For the properties of Refuge Church of Christ and the property located at 50 cedar street in Roxbury, be donated and converted into a school for the John D Obryant students. For this to be one of the top schools in this country and still not have a building of its own is beyond me. This will enable Madison park school the Soave it needs to be what it was intended. The new Soave should be turned into dorms the students should have seniority over the use of the Reggie Lewis center and all money from renting should go to the school and faculty of Madison and r.c.c.. R.c.c. And Madison park should be partners the housing campuses should extend . A campus for rcc students a special wing should be decorated in memorial to Sir David Jones who was murderer coming from school(Madison park) one day in between the church and Madison properties one of the sites will have a mural on the ceiling and be named after him the day he was murdered should be celebrated in his memory by the schools on that day they should perform their talents and receive an aware after David for students of excellence.
7. Reconstruction/Renovations
A. The museum of African American History
B. The Museum of the National Venter of Afro-American Artists
C. The completion and opening of the Charles Street Church Property
8. Beautification
A. The renovation of the George Robert White Playground (on King and Roxbury streets) in to a "Peace Park". To revive the pond and waterfall using glass tikes to showcase the art of Roxbury Artist including the works of roxbury's own Vanessa Loud and to be decorated with vibrant colored flowers and color interchanging with the seasons. To also include a mini arcade for the children or game system as well as a bathroom/changing stations for those enjoying the pool and if possibly a theatre or projector screen to host family movie events so that families may occupy the park warding off unwanted behaviors that seem to find a home in our parks.
B. Decoration of the Edward O. Gourdin Veterans park displaying related art and history. Trees should be decorated with red and blue flowers during its season every May new white flowers should be added or white stars gold ribbons and light at night....poster boards of related history should be displayed along the walls And maybe suspended in trees benches should be painted gold or blue or interchange according to the season. The middle tree should be dedicated to the memory of the 15 year old Lance Hartgrove who was slain there.
C. The completion of "The Emerald Necklace" by constructing an indoor prkwy "Dorchesterway" featuring a mini Franklin Olmsted museum or display of his architecture and other humanity endeavors he has undertaken. This indoor park can include exhibits, botanical gardens, waterfalls, and also an indoor walk parkway if possible that visitors may begin at Columbus road to JFK an example of how it may look: walk up to the Dorchesterway museum (to be constructed on top of forint stone building 2 Colombia re and blue hill) and enjoy exhibits and displays while walking to the JFK area like the walk way that JFK has at the station or like in Copley prudential.
9. safety
A. Peace Park Zone Law - Set up like school zone drug policies but with penalty geared more toward community services than Capitol punishment for acts of violence first act - if minor to provide community service to that community, second act - mental health evaluation , 3rd act criminal punishment. First major act - mental health evaluation recommendation and probation, 2nd act criminal penalty. Murdere and attempted murders - institutional user for criminally insane. The George rover white peace family playground should be the first dedicated and initiated park.
B. For cases of domestic violence to be handled and treated as a mental health issue and services provided accordingly for the whole family that roué include free membership to the Boston YMCA .
C. For B-2 community officers and projects to receive the credentials and recognition they deserve for the work they do in repairing and initiating positive community relations in our neighborhoods and for that work to also be highlighted as an example for other city's to duplicate.
10. Art/a Healing/Entertainment
A. Full cooperation with hosting a "Boston Healing" event for all to be held at the boston common and other parks in the city "PeacePark Memorial Day" (absolutely no violence) held during National Peace Week.
B. Full cooperation with partnering with FFawn and other organizations to host a women and wellness concert tour starting with the Boston Garden for the upliftment of women effected by violence, also to be held during National Peace Week
C. To finally designate Roxbury as an Arts District....
