Who's ready for our Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies this weekend? 🍪

This is our version of a decadent twist on a classic, resulting in a complex and deeply flavored treat.

The signature flavor comes from the brown butter, which is cooked until the milk solids turn golden-brown, imparting a deep, nutty, and almost toffee or caramel-like richness. The dual chocolate chips offer a perfect balance: the milk chocolate provides a familiar, sweet, and creamy melt, while the semi-sweet chocolate introduces a deeper, more robust chocolate flavor, preventing the cookie from being overly sweet. The combination of brown sugar and sourdough discard contributes to a soft, moist, and wonderfully chewy interior. The sourdough also adds a unique, subtle complexity and tanginess that balances the sweetness and richness of the brown butter and chocolate. It enhances the overall flavor profile, making the cookie more sophisticated than a traditional one.

You have a couple options to snag some cookies! We will be doing a restock at Market 76082 and will be at Crowley Market on Main for the Crowley Fall Fest this Saturday. The event begins at 5pm.

We are all set up at Pumpkin Palooza at the Springtown Garden Center right in the middle of Gringo’s Salsa and Market 76082! There are so many vendors out here as well as food trucks, etc. Swing by, grab a pumpkin, and do a little shopping!

Though we were super sad to miss our markets this last weekend, it gave us the opportunity to quarantine Fernando (our sourdough starter) and really bulk him up and strengthen him!

So, GREAT NEWS! We have active starter in the dehydrator and we are putting more kits together this week! We are also adding more kitchen things to our line up and new apron colors!

Kids are better, starter is happy, and we just bought 700lbs of flour so we are ready to get going again! Can't wait to see y'all this weekend at Pumpkin Palooza and Downtown Arlington Farmers Market! It's going to be a blast!
