Big Announcement!!!

Beats #3 Kickstarter will be very special this time around. I have decided to have comics be more and do more for the greater good just like the heroes in them. Starting with this book every Fate Comics kickstarter will be putting part of the proceeds toward non profits that make a difference in the area and all over the world.

With Beats #3 we are teaming up with Team Jakey to End The Stigma. Mental Health is very important, and we couldn't be more happy to help with their mission to save lives and End The Stigma around mental illness and su***de through community engagement and events that foster open conversation, promote resilience with education, and ensure access to resources.

I have personally met many that are part of Team Jakey and see the passion of this non profit in their hearts. Which is why they will have their own reward tier and cover, with a higher percentage of the proceeds going toward their mission.

Thank you for what you do Team Jakey, we hope to help you on your mission.

Beats issue 3 cover is colored. Couldn't be happier how this has turned out. The issue is about to start production and the Kickstarter is not far behind. There is also a big update with this kickstarter we will be presenting soon, so stay tuned.

You might have asked what book is next, well here is the answer. Beats issue 3 will be the next up on Kickstarter. We hope to have this launched by this end of the month but good chance it will end up being launched at the beginning of June.

Now that the dust has settled on our convention, I wanted to add our voice to the large chorus lamenting the passing of one of the greatest writers ever to work in the realm of comics - Gerry Conway. 72 feels way too young to lose him but we all know that he made the most of every revolution around the sun that he could make. He was slated to be at our event last year, but broke his hip just before we were set to announce him. And, as many of you remember, he was all set to join us at this year’s event, but he had to cancel due to health reasons. The sadness of his passing is slightly mitigated by the countless hours of joy he gave each and every one of us who were fortunate enough to find and consume his boundless stories in both the mediums of comic books and television. He simply told great stories. He will be greatly missed, but I know that he goes on to join a pantheon of great contemporaries in the halls of comic book Valhalla from Stan Lee, Gil Kane, John Buscema, Marie Severin, Jack Kirby and so many more!!!
RIP Gerry Conway. 😔
