🌍 Meet Chewy - The Traveling Teddy Pom! 🐾✈️
Five moves, countless miles, and one unforgettable smile! At 10 years old, Chewy (the Pomeranian-Teddy Bear mix) has been everywhere, done everything, and made so many new friends along the way. From airplane rides to boat trips, Chewy's adventures have taken him across more neighborhoods than most people can dream of! 🌟
His signature growl, a nod to Chewbacca, and his snow-white "sock" paws make him a true star wherever he goes. Whether it’s visiting the Riverside Arts Market, strolling with his canine sister Bella, or supervising errands at Home Depot, Chewy is always ready to explore.
What's next on his bucket list? More new friends, savory treats, and the perfect spot to leave his "signature." 🦴

Move over cats and dogs… Shearwater’s most adorable girl gang has arrived!

Meet the fuzzy, veggie-loving squad of twelve guinea pigs taking the neighborhood by storm—Marzipan, Mandarin, Morel, Moonpie, Mushroom, Marmalade, Meringue, May, Maddie, Poppy, Sally, and Cheesecake. Yes, twelve. Yes, all girls. Yes, every single one adored and spoiled in style.

Their incredible owner has not only rescued them from places as far as Utah, but she’s built them a life full of snuggles, fresh grass, stylish haircuts, and even the occasional beach day. Some know tricks, others just excel at being cute—but all of them bring big love in small, squeaky packages. 💚

From backyard grazing to legendary photo ops, this herd has stolen hearts one head of lettuce at a time.

👋 Meet Ms. O, the dedicated Principal of Trout Creek Academy—Shearwater’s vibrant K–8 neighborhood school with over 1,350 students and a beloved mascot, Turbo the Terrapin! 🐢

Since moving to the area in 2000, Ms. O has been passionate about blending academic excellence with joy and connection. Under her leadership, TCA is full of fun traditions like holiday scavenger hunts, lunchroom karaoke, Friday movie days, and PTO family nights that make school a place students truly love.

With 26 years in education—including classroom teaching, coaching, and administrative roles—Ms. O treats every student and staff member like family. She’s inspired daily by TCA’s talented students who excel in STEM, arts, athletics, and community service, supported by the strong involvement of Shearwater families.

This year, Ms. O is excited to welcome Turbo the Terrapin, the school’s new mascot, and maybe even host another inflatable race to see who’s fastest!
When she’s not at school greeting students with music, you might find her enjoying local spots like the First Coast Vendor Village or the Kayak Outpost. Her door is always open, and she encourages the Shearwater community to stay connected and engaged with the school.

Together with Ms. O, Trout Creek Academy and Shearwater families are building a community where friendships, learning, and futures continue to grow strong. ❤️
