We often pray for open doors, but when one closes, we wonder why.

What we don't see is that God's protection often looks like a delay.

It's being in the hands of Jesus.

Life can be uncertain.

People may disappoint you.

Plans may change.

But the love of Christ never changes.

It's believing that Jesus will never leave you to walk it alone.

The world tells us to rely on our own strength.

But God gently reminds us that we were never meant to carry every burden alone.

Some prayers are answered immediately.

Others require patience.

But every single prayer placed into God's hands is heard.

When life feels uncertain, don't panic.

Pause...

Pray...

And trust that the One who calmed the sea is more than able to calm the storms inside your heart.

You don't need to know how everything will work out.
