So… I had to go back and do my EKG AGAIN.

You would think it would be easier the second time, but honestly? The anxiety still showed up. Knowing I’m getting closer to surgery, thinking about anesthesia, and doing this process all over again had me in my head.

This journey is not just physical — it’s mental and emotional too.

In this episode, I’m sharing the real side of going through pre-op appointments twice, pushing through fear, and continuing to choose myself even when it’s uncomfortable.

This was my first EKG appointment before my bariatric bypass surgery… and I’m not even gonna lie, I was nervous.

I’ve never been put under anesthesia before, and just knowing that this is all getting REAL hit me all at once in this moment. This wasn’t just another appointment — this felt like the beginning of everything changing.

In this episode, I’m taking you with me through the nerves, the thoughts running through my head, and what it actually feels like preparing for surgery as a single mom.

Being a single mom comes with moments that are funny… but also make you pause 😭

My daughter really thinks every man that speaks to me is her daddy — and I have to constantly remind her… that’s not how this works 💔

It’s one of those moments that shows how important presence really is… even in the smallest ways.

But listen… we still laugh through it, because baby… life gone keep life-ing 😭

Sometimes healing looks like finally hitting “post.”

This was Easter from last year… a moment I recorded but never shared. At the time, I was going through postpartum depression and just trying to make it through each day. I was filming memories, but I didn’t have the strength to show up online.

Now I’m in a different space—still growing, still healing—but choosing to show up anyway. This is me giving myself grace and not letting my moments stay hidden anymore.

Here’s a little piece of my life… a little late, but still full of love 🐰💜
