STOP THESE USELESS FOOD DRIVES!
Instead of food and can drives, why don't these stores like Schnucks donate gift cards that can be used exclusively for food purchases? Many people can't just eat boxed meals without access to essentials like milk and butter. Those on assistance programs often live with others and may not always have the means to cook full meals or even access to a proper kitchen. Who wants expired canned goods or pest-infested boxes of products that have been sitting in the pantry for months? Let's be proactive—consider giving gift cards to help people buy what they truly need.

Gopuff Donating Up to $10 Million in Free Groceries to SNAP Recipients as Families Nationwide Prepare for Potential Lapse in Benefits
Gopuff offering SNAP recipients $50 off groceries as SNAP benefits are slated to halt November 1st
Millions of Americans could lose access to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits due to the ongoing government shutdown. At Gopuff, we’re committed to showing up in the ways that matter most to the people and communities we serve. In an effort to help SNAP recipients continue accessing the groceries they need amid this gap in aid, Gopuff is offering a $50 credit for SNAP-eligible items, delivered for free in as fast as 15 minutes.

Gopuff is committing up to $10 million in total relief, offering $50 worth of groceries for free – broken into two $25 credits during the month of November – to customers who have a SNAP EBT card connected to their Gopuff account, or who add their SNAP EBT card. The national relief effort is designed to provide quick, seamless access to groceries for families who will suddenly lose essential food aid.

Here’s how SNAP recipients can access the Gopuff program, which will run in two distinct waves:

Add a SNAP EBT card to your Gopuff account (how to). No action needed if you already have a SNAP card added to your account.

Add SNAP-eligible groceries to your cart.

From November 1-15, 2025: use code SNAPRELIEF1 at checkout for $25 off SNAP-eligible items and FREE delivery.

From November 16-30, 2025: Use code SNAPRELIEF2 at checkout for $25 off SNAP-eligible items and FREE delivery.

Today’s announcement builds on Gopuff’s long-standing efforts to combat food insecurity and improve food access. Since 2019, the company has partnered with Feeding America to support food banks across the U.S., donating over 1.1 million pounds of food in 2024.

$25 off SNAP-eligible items and no delivery fee with code SNAPRELIEF1. One-time use per SNAP EBT customer. Requires SNAP EBT card on Gopuff account. Starts 11/1/25; ends 11/15/25 or when 200,000 total coupons are redeemed, whichever is first.

$25 off SNAP-eligible items and no delivery fee with code SNAPRELIEF2. One-time use per SNAP EBT customer. Requires SNAP EBT card on Gopuff account. Starts 11/16/25; ends 11/30/25 or when 200,000 total coupons are redeemed, whichever is first.

Offers valid only for SNAP-eligible items; other taxes, fees, and exclusions may apply. Gopuff reserves the right to modify, cancel or terminate these offers at any time.
