🚨 Missouri moves to link the National Guard with ICE starting October 1 — and the mission lasts through 2026.

👉 Officials say it’s just “clerical and logistical” work like case files and data entry.
👉 Critics warn it signals a new level of militarization in immigration enforcement.
👉 The big question: why does it take a two-year Guard mission to handle paperwork?

Is this accountability and security — or politics and overreach?

💰 St. Louis is back in the spotlight. The Missouri Auditor is investigating the city’s $37M North Side business grant program and a $166K severance deal for the former SLDC CEO.

👉 Whistleblowers say money was misused.
👉 New leadership says they’ve fixed it.
👉 North Side residents are still asking: where’s the accountability?

Is this just sloppy management — or a deeper culture problem in City Hall? 👀

🚨 The Board of Aldermen just dropped new rules on Sheriff Alfred Montgomery — defining his duties and forcing him to report spending every month.

Supporters say it’s about accountability after spending controversies and refusals to transport detainees.

But critics say it’s a double standard — no other county officeholder has to do this. And if the Sheriff beats his case in November, taxpayers could be on the hook for a lawsuit.

🚨 St. Louis just handed out a $1.1M consulting contract for tornado recovery — and folks, we need to talk.

Why is a firm created after the disaster getting this kind of money while neighborhoods are still waiting for help? Where’s the transparency? Where’s the accountability?

The St. Louis County Council voted down a resolution to honor conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was tragically killed last week.

👉 Supporters said it wasn’t about endorsing his views — just respecting free speech.
👉 Opponents, including the NAACP and Ethical Society of Police, argued his record of rhetoric against marginalized communities cannot be separated from the resolution itself.

Yes, political violence must always be condemned. But here’s the question: should public officials be honored just because of free speech, even when their words caused real harm?

Free speech doesn’t mean free praise. Where do YOU stand?

🚨 Another politician caught up! Former Missouri Speaker John Diehl just pleaded guilty to scamming nearly $380K in COVID relief funds.

Tesla. Audi. Jeep. Pool maintenance. Country club dues. Tuition. Mortgage. ALL on the taxpayer’s dime.

Now his lawyer says, “He paid it back.” But does that make it okay? 🤔
