3 years ago (on July 25, 2022), I started tracking everything I ate in MyFitnessPal. I met with a dietician who told me to use the free version of the app. She told me to track at calories, protein, and carbs.
At the time, I was morbidly obese and about to reach 300 pounds! I’m only 5’2” so that was a LOT of extra weight to carry around on my body.
I have not missed a single day of tracking what I eat (even track on days you have “cheat” meals)! Not all days are going to be good or easy. Some days you need chocolate or pizza or BOTH chocolate AND pizza! 🍕 🥰
Over the past three years, I have learned that it’s all about balance. Don’t limit yourself too much to not enjoy delicious foods. Food is fuel. No food is “bad”. Some foods are just better options to fuel your body. Make good choices! 💪
