Just heartbreaking! 💔 RIP Patti

All of us at MOWIT are tremendously saddened and heartbroken to have lost not just a sister, but a supporter and a friend.

Patti Green was our Outreach Coordinator, who has been with us since October 2023, where she has helped us flourish into the organization that we are today. She had a loving heart and a strong belief of empowering women and was a fierce advocator in not only helping those already in the trades, but sought out every opportunity to recruit and help lead the way for others.

Our commitment as an organization is to build a diverse workforce, a strong labor movement, safe and healthy worksites, and women’s empowerment and economic security. But for Patti, it was more than that. It was her core belief. And it showed through her dedication to Missouri Women in Trades, as she showed up with support and encouragement and almost always wearing a MoWit shirt.

You could tell that she was proud to be a part and to make a difference together, and we were proud to have her. She will be greatly missed and loved forever.

Patti Green will forever be part of Missouri Women in Trades.

We will share any information about services for Patti as we learn about them. Until then our hearts and prayers are with her family and our community. Please reach out if you need to talk. 💗
