Hey everybody!! I know it’s been a little bit since you’ve heard from us! It’s been an insane few weeks and the carousel never stops turning. We DO have an episode getting ready to come out for you all but we have a few schedule changes.

Starting this week our episodes will be released midnight on Wednesdays. The way our personal lives have been set up without any let up in the foreseeable future, we needed to be able to give ourselves a few extra days after recording so it’s 1) not a rush job and 2) we’re not overpromising and underdelivering.

If you’re still rocking with us, we so appreciate you and we’ll be back to our weekly episodes starting tomorrow!!

GUYYSSS - we are so sorry about the week late upload on Episode 12! It’s been an insane week and we hit a ton of personal roadblocks that kept us from being able to edit and publish - but it is out now and ready for listening!

In the first half we have a super awesome guest that we had a bunch of fun with, but from around the 35 minute mark there are some pretty major trigger warnings - we talk about a hot-topic of the moment shmurd3r case and it was a gruesome one so definitely NSFW or one for young americas BUT if true crime is your jam, you’ll really enjoy this one! 🫶🏽

As an added apology, we recorded again last night and I’m working on editing that episode right now so it’ll be uploaded and ready to listen to at the normal time!

Pictured below is the fabled Wendigo! We lightly covered wendigos and skinwalkers and I was a bit confused so let’s talk about it!

Wendigos actually come from Algonquin-speaking tribe lore like the Piasa Bird! The wendigo is described as a fearsome beast that stalks and eats humans or a spirit that possesses humans causing them to turn into cannibals.

Not to be confused with Skinwalkers that come from
Navajo lore and are actually harmful witches who have the ability to possess or disguise themselves as an animal. From my understanding they can mimic sounds of crying, screaming for help, or sound like your friends and family to lure you in. Which brings us back to one of the Appalachian rules: if you hear something in the woods/mountains…NO YOU DIDNT!
