10/31/2025
REMINDER! Oct. 31 often means a rush home and, on some jobs, late pours with pump/concrete truck access near neighborhoods and school zones. Low light and excited kids create a different risk set. Treat it like a scope change, plan for it.
🚨On site:
🚩Re-time deliveries (4–8 pm). If a late pour is unavoidable, brief the traffic plan.
🚩Gate controls: light towers, cones/signs, ≤5 mph, no backing without a spotter.
🚩Visibility: lights on early; high-vis; headlamps; clean glass/mirrors.
🚩Radio: one call-sign for gate moves; pause during trick-or-treat surges.
➡️Offsite/after work:
✅Drive like a work zone: slow, lights on early, eyes up at crossings.
✅With kids: reflective accents, flashlight, sidewalks/crosswalks, walk—don’t run; quick candy check.
Bottom line: darker evenings + site traffic + excited kids = adjust the plan, slow the trucks, light the path—get everyone home safe.
