St. Louis Music and Entertainment Media Icon, Asher Benrubi/The Smash emerges from a decade long Radio retirement to bring The Gateway a bold new testimony while introducing and listening to uplifting “Christian” music from the Now, Then and The Way Back When! “The People’s Praise Party” showcases “The Smash” as he’s never been heard on St. Louis Radio. With his foundation secured in “The Rock,” Smash threads forth a testimony of soul saving deliverance and inspiration in and of the salvation that he’s come to experience from his personal relationship with God.

Perfect, he is not. Whose story is? Asher Benrubi’s testimony is presented and placed within the flow of some of the greatest songs ever written, sung or instrumentalized. These songs happen to be “Church” music coming from a variety of sources: Urban Gospel, Southern Gospel, Traditional, Rock, Soul, Pop and many more from today and yesterday…even some from the “Secular” side!
