Everyone talks about white sofas feeling timeless… but a medium brown leather might be the real design workhorse. 🤎

It’s warm in the fall, cozy in the winter, grounded in spring, and somehow still feels light and organic in the summer when layered with linen, soft neutrals, and airy textures.

The trick is choosing a safe medium brown — not too orange, not too dark, not too trendy. Then letting the pillows shift the mood season by season.

In the cooler months:
→ richer florals
→ deeper olives + to***co tones
→ layered texture and contrast

In the warmer months:
→ soft creams
→ subtle stripes
→ washed linen textures and lighter patterns

Same sofa. Completely different feeling.

That’s why I’ll always choose foundational pieces that flex with your home instead of chasing trends every season.

Gallery walls seem easy… until you start one 🤍

Currently somewhere between “this is coming together beautifully” and “why does moving one frame change everything?” 😂

Choosing the art next and trying to make it feel collected, soft, and layered without becoming cluttered.

The older I get, the more I realize the magic is usually in the little everyday things 🤍

A bowl by the stove.
Warm wood tones.
Glass jars on a shelf.
A hand towel hanging from the island.

Not everything in a home has to be perfectly styled to feel beautiful… sometimes it’s just about adding warmth to the spaces we use every single day.

One year in this house… and somehow it’s slowly becoming everything I hoped it would be 🤍

Not because it was instantly perfect, but because of all the little projects, late-night ideas, paint samples, power tools, styling tweaks, and “let’s just try it” moments along the way.

Enjoying my mortgage one project at a time 🫶🏼

Thank you for following along while we turn this builder-grade house into a home that feels layered, lived in, and completely ours.

Memorial Day sales always get me 🤍

I rounded up a few elevated home finds I genuinely love — soft textures, warm woods, cozy outdoor pieces, and timeless details that feel collected instead of trendy. And honestly…there are a few in here I’ll probably be purchasing myself this weekend 👀

The black rockers, woven storage boxes, and spindle side table especially have me thinking about a little summer refresh. Comment “Sale” and I will DM you the links.

It’s funny how the smallest details can completely soften a space 🤍

What started as a simple porch swing slowly became one of my favorite little corners of our home — layered textures, evening light, coffee outside, unraveled rope, and all the imperfect charm that makes a space feel lived in.

Turns out charm is usually in the details. ✨

Still can’t believe these are the same chairs 🤍

A little sanding, stain, and patience completely changed the feel of our porch. Mention “DIY” and I’ll send you my process and supplies.

Slowly building that soft, layered European garden look one piece at a time… and honestly, seeing these finished makes me even more excited for summer out here.

Mother’s Day weekend = flowers, gardening, refinishing furniture, and pretending my yard is a European garden 🤍
