This month, we're celebrating HIS STORY across our June editions of Clayton City Lifestyle Magazine, Chesterfield City Lifestyle Magazine, and St. Charles County City Lifestyle magazines, and what an incredible lineup of stories we shared on Fox 2!

🏍️ In Clayton, we featured the amazing Cycle Showcase STL and founder Randall Noldge, where motorcycles aren't just machines, they're rolling works of art beautifully captured by photographer John Lore.
⚾ In Chesterfield, we stepped into baseball history with acclaimed author Ed Wheatley and his fascinating new book, The Finest in the Field: A History of Baseball Through 50 Iconic Gloves. A must-read for baseball lovers and history buffs alike.
🛍️ In St. Charles County, we introduced you to Micah Raposo and Men's Modern General Store, where Father's Day shopping just became a whole lot easier. Because as Micah says, "Men deserve nice things too."

IN YOUR CITY FUN FACT:
The exact "first" restaurant to open in St. Louis is lost to history, as the city was founded as a fur trading post in 1764. However, several institutions claim the title of the city's oldest still-operating restaurant:
Beffa's Bar & Restaurant: Has the oldest roots in the city, tracing its founding as a neighborhood saloon back to 1898.

The Piccadilly at Manhattan: Widely regarded as the oldest continuously operating restaurant in St. Louis, having opened its doors in 1901.

Al's Restaurant: An upscale fine-dining steakhouse that originally opened in 1925, making it the oldest locally owned, single-family operated restaurant in one location.

If you are looking for other iconic, old-school St. Louis culinary institutions, consider visiting in your city:
Gioia's Deli: Operating since 1918.
Crown Candy Kitchen: A historic 1913 soda fountain and diner.

We discovered a new spot in Clayton tonight…The High Bar perched on the 11th floor of the AC Hotel with gorgeous rooftop views, fresh air, and one of those atmospheres that instantly makes you feel like you’re somewhere special. 🍸
The truffle fries? Absolutely worth talking about. Crispy, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating.

What we loved most was the vibe — relaxed conversations, city lights, and a beautiful place to unwind. 8:30… the music turned up, the younger crowd rolled in, and we went home. 😁

Another fun night exploring the people, places, and experiences that make our city so special.
