📍 FORT PIERCE CRABBY'S: Fort Pierce city staff returned to the commission Tuesday requesting another 30 days to finalize a potential ownership transfer for the Crabby's establishment in downtown Fort Pierce. Staff first came back in July asking for 60 days to negotiate an assignment to a new operator and say significant progress has been made since then. A potential assignee has already submitted a formal proposal in line with the original RFP but the city is still waiting on financial data before moving forward. Commissioner Broderick said financials are critically important and that step will not be skipped adding that he wants to review them personally. If the financials come through the deal would come back to the commission as a lease amendment similar to how previous assignments were handled at Cobb's Landing and Little Jim's.
