Today, we’re celebrating and thanking Jera Harter for more than five years with Barash Media.

Throughout her time with us, Jera built countless meaningful relationships, helped local businesses grow, and played an important role in making Town&Gown and our family of publications what they are today.

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re excited for her next adventure and wish her nothing but success and happiness in the years ahead.

Amy Frank (), Founder of The Makery and The Makery Market is Town&Gown's Person of the Year! We gathered at The Makery on May 27 to present her with her award, with Mayor Ezra Nanes in attendance.
The honor was awarded by readers of Town&Gown and a panel of community leaders, consisting of Ezra Nanes, Mayor of State College, Trish Fulvio, Executive Director of PA Pink Zone, and Cat Cook, Executive Director of Centre LGBT+.
