Heavy rains continue across southern Mississippi and southwest Alabama. Over 3 inches of rain has fallen resulted in flash flooding. More rain will occur through the evening before tapering off tonight to showers and thunderstorms. ⛈️

GFS model has a least two tropical systems to watch by the start of September. It's been a slow start to the season with only 3 tropical systems . Alex in early June hit central America and Bonnie & Colin near the US which were very minor in nature in early July.
