Dear Friends of The Daily Collegian,

Please join us Saturday at 10 a.m. to discuss the future of The Daily Collegian.

Leading this discussion will be Bob Buday, author and CEO of Buday Thought Leadership Partners, and Bill Guthlein, a business planning, financial and data analysis consultant and principal at WJG Associates. With a team of fellow Daily Collegian alumni and one alumnus of a different college news organization (CNO), Bob and Bill have studied CNOs nationwide since last September.

They’ve presented their findings twice to representatives of the 21 CNOs who agreed to be interviewed for the research as well as to members of The Collegian professional and student staff, board of directors, and Marie Hardin, dean of the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.

Now they will share their specific recommendations intended to help The Collegian survive the university’s decision to end all funding and thrive despite a perilous time for all news organizations, student and professional.

The presentation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications building (the former Willard Building). For those who can’t be in State College, here's the Zoom link to attend:
