AIG Board President Robyn Radomski, right, received the Martin R. Cepeda, Jr. Award for Alumni Career Advancement and Development at the Penn State Alumni Association's 2026 Volunteer Awards ceremony on Sunday, which capped the PSAA's weekend-long Alumni Learning Conference. With Robyn is Barb Stack, former AIG board secretary, who submitted Robyn's nomination for the high honor. Congratulations, Robyn! We're so proud of your work on behalf of The Daily Collegian and its student staffers!

Calling all alumni! Were you part of the former Collegian mentorship program, or are you interested in being a resource for current Collegian students seeking advice and expertise?

We are launching a new Daily Collegian Alumni Mentorship Database, which will replace the old mentoring program. The board is looking for alumni to participate so we can be a holistic resource for the students. We found that often expertise wasn’t matching up with what students were looking for in the mentorship program. We want to cast a wider net to create a living resource students can access for years to come.

Through this new form, you will be listed on a spreadsheet shared with all current Collegian staff members and passed down and used consistently. The intention is for students to be able to find specific alumni who can answer any questions, concerns or career advice they may have during their time at the Collegian.

On Saturday, June 27, as part of We Are Weekend, the Collegian AIG sponsored a tour of the Bellisario College’s facilities in what was once known as Old Willard Building. A tour of the Bellisario College of Communication facilities and The Daily Collegian offices is part of the extensive schedule of activities during We Are Weekend, June 26-27.

Organized by the Collegian AIG, the tour will be on Saturday, June 27, from 2-3 p.m. Registration is required, and capacity is limited.
