We had the best time at the first Little Lion Book Nook at Little Lions Play Den!

We read Beast Feast by Emma Yarlett and made our very own beasts! I loved seeing everyone’s creativity - some kids did beasts, some just wanted to draw, all is accepted in our sessions 🙂

If you’re worried about your child not sitting? Don’t worry about it.
If you’re worried about them not participating? Don’t worry about it.
If you’re worried about them just playing?
Don’t worry about it.

The whole point is to expose them to amazing books! They will grow in knowledge, in verbiage, etc. Even if they’re just hearing it while playing in the vicinity ❤️

State College Reading Trail starts TOMORROW 🙂

I can't wait to see you all going around State College for the Reading Trail!

My hope is to get this to be bigger and bigger, so I will be doing one in the summer, based on feedback from this time 🙂

Hours of the Stops:
The North Club: Is open 24 hours a day.

IGAR Games: Sun 12-6
Mon 12-8:30
Tues, Wed, Thurs 10-8:30
Fri, Sat 10-9
*There are a few times where there will be big game releases and it may be hard to sit down, so you may want to avoid these times: Friday Evening 9/19, Saturday 9/20 from 10am-3pm and Sunday 9/21 from Noon-5pm.

Freeze Thaw Cycles: Mon-Fri 10-6pm
Sat 10-4

Arize Federal Credit Union: Mon, Tues 9-4:30
Wed 9-12

The State College Area Reading Trail kicks off September 15 – October 15! 🎉

Families can visit local businesses around town, read fun stories together, and collect stamps along the way. Every child who completes the trail will earn free prizes — and there are even bigger drawings for all participants! 🙌
