Set in the 1950s and 60s, the story follows Kya Clark (Daisy Edgar-Jones), a resourceful young woman who grows up alone in the marshlands of North Carolina after being abandoned by her family. Teleflora unveiled its Mother's Day bouquet collection in 2019, launching a funny 'Love Like a Mother' campaign. The campaign featured a series of lighthearted scenarios where strangers acted like overly caring mothers in everyday situations. From offering a tissue to a fellow commuter to grooming a job applicant and even trying to feed an adult chicken nuggets, the ads humorously highlighted how motherly actions, while sweet coming from a mom, can be quite awkward coming from anyone else. The campaign aimed to connect these endearing, if unusual, moments with the sentiment behind sending flowers for Mother's Day.
