Daniel Arsham’s art journey began in Miami with a camera from his grandfather. At Cooper Union, he shifted from architecture to art, studying under Hans Haacke and Walid Raad. His 2003 thesis—a parking structure spelling “REGRET” from above—hinted at his focus on architecture’s emotional depth.
