In 1999, we bought the 420 Bridge Street building…not long after, Mark’s parents visited and we took them to the then museum on Thornrose.
Most likely, this key chain came from that visit! 🎶🇺🇸
It’s held our ‘main’ shop keys to this day.

Brazilian Rosewood is often regarded as the holy grail of tonewoods and this TD-R Custom with Thermo-Cured Adirondack Red Spruce will make anyone a believer! Our friends at Acoustic Music Works in Pittsburgh ordered this with abalone top trim and fretboard surround (‘42 style) complemented with Ivoroid bindings all over, short pattern abalone snowflake fretboard inlays, and a Huss & Dalton torch inlay on the peghead. Quality Brazilian Rosewood is getting very hard to find so if you’re thinking about it now is the time to act before this wood all but disappears.

Help us wish a very Happy Birthday to Kimberly Dalton! If you’ve ever called or emailed the office you’ve likely had some interactions with Kimberly. Wearer of many hats around here we are lucky to have had her all these years. Set to retire this Fall alongside her husband, Mark Dalton, we have big shoes to fill! However, she is currently training and guiding the next office personnel (that we’ll introduce another time) while making plans of traveling the world and getting back to their farm after enjoying the past 30 years of guitar making!
