Yes, we can do that!

It’s one our favorite things to tell a client. In this case our friends at Acoustic Music Works put together a stunning TD-R Custom build starting with the black top (impossible to photo so we embrace the reflection 🙂) Thermo-Cured Sitka and Wild-Grained Indian Rosewood back/sides.

They then asked if we could cut some custom Bloodwood fret markers in a semi-gothic feel to play off the black top. Of course we said yes…we live for making creative visions a reality. Finished off with Snakewood button Waverly tuners and a 1 3/4” nut this beauty really makes a statement. Give them a call today to reserve this one of one.

This gorgeous little Parlor stopped us in our tracks.

Bearclaw Engelmann spruce meets exceedingly rare Tiger Myrtle, a pairing that looks almost hand-painted but feels alive in the hands.

The voice is sweet and open, instantly responsive, with warm, woody mids and a shimmering top end without being harsh. Very comfortable to play on a couch but wouldn’t be out of place on the stage.

We’ve tapped into a stunning source of Cocobolo, and the results speak for themselves. This T-0014 Custom for Down Home Guitars pairs beautifully figured Bearclaw Sitka spruce with rich, vibrant Cocobolo back and sides—an aesthetic and tonal match made in heaven.

OM Custom — A stunning example of balance and beauty, with a figured redwood top that glows with character and a set of cocobolo back and sides that is otherworldly! Its voice is rich and complex—notes bloom with clarity and linger with a piano-like sustain. Koa bindings, hot hide glue bracing, an abalone backstrip, elegant snowflake inlays, and gold Waverly tuners with snakewood buttons add a refined, golden touch to this exquisite instrument. It’s a perfect blend of power and sensitivity—made for the player who listens as deeply as they play.

FS Custom — At its heart, a top of sinker redwood, aged beneath the water and rich with harmonic complexity. This OM-C Custom pairs a Sitka spruce top with extraordinary “Stillaguamish River” Maple back and sides — wood that was once part of a storm-blown tree, later submerged and preserved in the Stillaguamish River of Washington State. The result is maple with remarkable color, figure, and story.
