✨ 14 YEARS OF CREATING… AND A NEW CHAPTER FOR KKVKREATIONS ✨
It’s hard to believe that I’m officially in my 14th year as a designer! ❤️
When I first started, my creative world looked very different. I began making wreaths, centerpieces, garlands, grapevine wreaths and all the things that came with creating beautiful seasonal décor. I learned, experimented, tried new techniques, made plenty of mistakes 😉 and slowly built KKVKreations into the business it became.
Over the last couple of years, though, something began to change.
My wreath making naturally started to phase out, and I found myself becoming more and more interested in creating the individual pieces that other designers could use to build their own beautiful designs.
And that's where my handmade attachments came in. ❤️
Today, I'm creating things like handmade drums, pies, pumpkins, embellishments, florals and specialty attachments for wreath makers, centerpiece designers and other creatives.
So why the change?
Honestly… space.
As I downsized my creative space, I had to rethink how I could continue doing the thing I love most:
CRAFTING.
I wasn't ready to give that up—and I still don't think I ever will. 😂
So instead of having a workspace filled with large wreaths and finished designs, I've shifted gears and created a space where I can focus on the smaller details that help other designers bring their visions to life.
And you know what?
I think this new chapter suits me. 🩷
After 14 years, I've learned that being a creative business owner doesn't mean you have to keep doing things the same way forever.
Sometimes you simply change direction, make the space work for you, and find a new way to create.
