A front-page story in the Oct. 23 edition of the newspaper, and the story in the link below, should have stated that council's approval of the $5 million funding shift at the Oct. 21 meeting was in addition to a previously awarded $5 million to the initial phase, making the total funding shift $10 million.

The article also reported that per-unit subsidy amounts were around $58,000 based on the $5 million allocation; given that the funding shift is $10 million in total, per-unit subsidy amounts are approximately $116,000.

The STR funds awarded by city council will go dollar-for-dollar to price reductions and not developer fees or profit, according to YVHA.
