This is why we love GSO ❤️ much love to you and Andy

Every trip starts the same way, and it has nothing to do with fishing.

Before Andy leaves for a guide trip, he sends me a “I love you” text. No matter how early it is, or how full his plate is that day.

Most of these mornings start well before the sun comes up, and if you know Andy… he’s not a morning person. (Coffee helps a lot! ☕)

On the very rare occasion that I hear his truck leave and text doesn’t come through, I know it’s because he has a lot on his mind and a lot on his shoulders. So I send him a “I love you” text, and without fail, he pulls over and texts me right back.

That seemingly small gesture is how we've carried a marriage through decades of early mornings, long days, and shared weight.

He also sends me photos of the sunrise from the boat or the ice. Some you’ve seen, some I keep just for us.

They’re small moments, but they’re everything. They keep us connected, protect our marriage, and let me be a small part of every guide trip he takes.

It’s the little things that make the biggest impact. ❤️

Epic Brown season!!

What a great way to spend a birthday! Went out with Pezo Lopez today and he made it extra special from a friends trip to an amazing bottle of bourbon specifically made for The Call Of The Wild that he gifted to me, to have bottle #8 is pretty special! And to have caught Charlie’s first master angler brown was the cherry on top, what a great memory 💪

The quiet, the stillness, the sky painted in shades of gold, orange, reds—it’s like nature’s reminder to slow down and appreciate the beauty in the simple things. 🌅🎣
