Fugitive arrested after seven years on the run

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) announced last week that it had apprehended one of its “most wanted” criminals after the man spent the last seven years avoiding police. One of the charges against him dates back to 2014.

Heat & rain couldn’t spoil annual Crawford County Fair

Despite a few interruptions from Mother Nature, last week’s Crawford County Fair is being considered a resounding success by organizers. Rain delayed the fair parade on July 15 and washed out the truck and tractor pull on July 18 before heat and high humidity made things uncomfortable for fairgoers on Saturday, but the crowds still showed up.
