Big shoutout to

I’ve been working with them on their new hats and clothing line and I genuinely love the quality, the fit, and what they stand for. One of the things that caught my attention most is they’re bold enough to put John 3:16 right on the hats.

Faith, quality, and purpose all woven together.

There’s something powerful about the table.

Not a stage.
Not a platform.
A table.

This is where walls come down.
Where stories are shared.
Where wounds get seen.
Where hearts soften.

In Acts of the Apostles 2:46–47, it says they met daily… broke bread… ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

And what happened?

God moved.
People were added.
Lives were changed.

Revival didn’t just happen in temples…
It happened in homes.
Around tables.

This is where fathers are restored.
This is where brothers are formed.
This is where identity is rebuilt.

We don’t need more performance…
We need presence.

And presence is found when we slow down…
sit down…
and make room at the table.

Who’s at your table?

I got off my horse, looked him in the eye, and drew a line…

“You can stay a boy… or you can grow up and become a man. You choose today.”

There was a moment.
A breaking point.
A decision.

And he chose to submit to the process.

Not to be controlled… but to be transformed.
Not to lose his strength… but to have it refined.

Now he’s becoming a great horse.

And in that moment, I heard the Lord say—
“This is what you’re doing with men across this nation.”

Calling them higher.
Inviting them into the process.
Challenging them to lay down pride, fear, and resistance…

So they can step into who they were created to be.

Men don’t need more comfort.
They need a moment of decision.

Boy… or man.
You choose.

Grateful for the opportunity to speak at Tarrant County Cowboy Church this morning.

There’s a message burning in my heart right now for men across this country:

We don’t need more men performing for God…
We need men living from the presence of God.

Moses said, “If Your presence doesn’t go with us, don’t send us.”
That’s the cry again today.

God is inviting us back to the table—
not to prove ourselves,
not to strive,
but to abide.

Because when we abide:

* Fruit begins to grow
* Identity becomes clear
* Strength comes from within, not from striving

This nation doesn’t just need better strategies…
It needs godly men rooted in presence, leading their families, businesses, and communities from a place of intimacy with the Father.

Men who:

* Sit at the table in the presence of their enemies
* Walk with God instead of running ahead of Him
* Lead from identity, not insecurity

I’m watching it happen all across the country—
men are rising.

And it starts here:
Presence over performance.

One of my favorite things is riding in an arena right after a good rain.

The ground is perfect — soft, settled, just the right balance.
Not too hard. Not too loose.

That’s what the Holy Spirit does to our hearts.

He softens us.
Prepares us.
Makes us ready to move the way we were designed to.

A hard heart will destroy a man.
Bitterness. Anger. Unforgiveness… it’ll lock you up.

But when you let the Holy Spirit in —
He breaks that ground up.

He makes your heart teachable again.
Responsive again. Alive again.

Let Him soften you.
Let Him prepare you.

That’s where real strength begins.

I’m in a season right now where I’m locked in.

No distractions.
No halfway effort.

Everything I have is going into this season —
rowing, stretching, getting stronger… physically, mentally, spiritually.

Not just for me…
but because I know who I am becoming.

I’m building from the core —
identity, discipline, consistency.

So I can lead my family well.
Show up for my community.
And help call men higher.

This isn’t hype.
This is commitment.

This is the work no one sees…
but everyone will feel.

Today I was training Boots on the heel side… and something unexpected happened.

I dropped the reins. And he fell into the pattern, collected himself and stopped exactly when I needed him to stop.

And in that moment, I realized—this is what it’s like with the Lord.

He’s not trying to control every step we take.
He’s not holding us tight out of fear.

He’s formed something deeper in us—His nature.

There’s a trust He’s inviting us into…
A place where obedience isn’t forced, it flows.
Where we don’t just respond to pressure—we move from identity.

He gives us permission.
Permission to walk with Him.
Permission to carry what He’s placed inside of us.

Not controlled… but trusted.

That’s real relationship.

Some of the best memories aren’t big stages… they’re made in the dirt.

Hours in the rodeo arena watching my little ones learn how to ride…
My older kids stepping into confidence, learning how to rope…

This is where it happens.
Patience. Grit. Discipline. Legacy.

No phones. No rush. Just time together… putting in the work.

These moments may look simple—
but this is where courage is built
and identity is formed.

We’re not just raising kids… we’re raising leaders.

And it all starts right here

Brylon took his first solo ride tonight… in the same arena I grew up learning in.

6 years old and already taking the reins.

Man, there’s something powerful about watching your kids step into courage right in front of you. Not fear-driven, not forced… but chosen.

I’m not just teaching him how to ride—
I’m teaching him how to lead.

To trust.
To stay steady.
To move forward even when it feels new.

These are the moments that matter.
This is legacy.
