Work is proceeding on the next installment of the Fights of Fantasy ACE (Additions - Corrections - Explanations). It should be complete and uploaded to Wargame Vault as a free PDF by the end of the month. There’s going to be a lot of great new rules and features for the game in this update.

I discovered yesterday that Fights of Fantasy achieved “Copper Best Seller” status on the Wargame Vault website. Though this is the lowest tier of these rankings, as more copies sell the game will work it’s way up the chain (silver, electrum, gold, etc.). This rating also means that Fights of Fantasy is in the top performing 37% (or so) of the literal thousands of varied products offered on the website. It’s a gradual process but the game continues to grow in popularity.

As a reminder, this is the official page for Fights of Fantasy, the miniatures wargame from The Tactical Tabletop. It’s strictly used for announcements regarding the game. If you’ve liked or are following this page I highly suggest you also join the Fights of Fantasy Fans Facebook group. That group is for discussion of the game and a place for players to share their experiences with it.

I’ll be running two sessions of Fights of Fantasy at Pro Or Con 2024 in Livonia, MI on October 5th. Both will consist of the same scenario - Attack of the Abhorrids. There are slots available for four players per session. If you’re close enough to attend and would like a chance to experience Fights of Fantasy firsthand, sign up for one of the games at Tabletop Events.

I just wanted to post a friendly reminder that the Independence Day Week sale for Fights of Fantasy on Wargame Vault ends at 12:00 a.m., July 6th. Until that time, the digital PDF copy of the rulebook is only $6.00. If you’ve been considering buying the game but haven’t, you may want to take advantage of the sale price. All the other materials for the game are free or pay-what-you-want so it’s a very low investment amount to get into the Fights of Fantasy miniatures wargame hobby. All you will need after that are your miniatures, dice, and time set aside to play the game (plus a few other sundries).

The Embattled Realms - Bastion Battle Striders, the latest supplement for Fights of Fantasy is now available at Wargame Vault. This is the first of many additions to the game that will include background lore and a setting. This isn’t the official setting for the game (which intentionally doesn’t have one) but an option for players to use and/or adapt.

These supplements will consist of some creative descriptions of the combatant along with pre-filled combatant records and images of the miniatures used to represent them. This series is more intended to inspire participants to create their own forces while using these as examples. They can, however, be used as is should players so choose.

The Embattled Realms - Bastion Battle Striders is available on a pay-what-you-want basis.

The latest update (uploaded today) of Fights of Fantasy ACE (Additions - Corrections - Explanations) is now available as a free PDF at Wargame Vault. In addition to correcting some errors and clarifying some not-so-clear parts of the rulebook, this ACE contains new combatant options, new magic spells, and new volley missile rules, among other items. This supplement is an absolute must for Fights of Fantasy players(so go download it now). In the next few days, I’ll also be updating the Combatant Record & Creation Checklist and the Magic Record & Spell Reference to reflect the new material.
