In old Western movies, there was always a scene where the hero nearly plugs the friendly stranger but his son intervenes with something like "Don't shoot, Pa! I saw the whole thing." I wrote this little guitar piece and it reminded me of my own personal "Don't shoot, Pa!" moment.

Assembled from stray ideas, time on my hands and bits of found art, using Affinity Photo, Apple Motion, Final Cut and Pro Tools. Doug Austin plays drums while the bass and guitars are me.

No AI was used in the making of this video. I just thought you should have something to watch while I play guitar.

Just upgraded some Audio repair software. For many years clients and students have asked me if I could remove the vocals or some other part from a finished track. My reply was always "meh,... sort of, but you can't really take the chocolate out of the chocolate cake." Well it looks like I now have the capability to take the chocolate out of the chocolate cake. Science!
