We often look outside ourselves for answers, thinking the next business move or “secret” strategy will change everything. But as Keith Kalfas says, “A problem can't be solved at the same level of thinking you were at when you created the problem.”

In this powerful episode, Keith shares how true growth begins on the inside—by shifting your mindset, building your inner foundation, and daring to ask bigger questions of yourself. The breakthroughs you’re after aren’t somewhere “out there”—they start with who you choose to become.

Keith reminds us that upgrading our standards, being true to our calling, and seeking wisdom are what really transform our business and our lives.

Hear the whole conversation and get inspired to level up from the inside out.

What You Will Discover:

The Power of Mindset and Inner Transformation. A significant portion of the episode is dedicated to discussing how your internal beliefs, mindset, and emotional patterns directly impact your business success. You'll learn why personal growth, faith, and consciously aligning your values are essential for achieving sustainable results.

The Importance of Accountability and Community. Keith emphasizes finding accountability partners and surrounding yourself with people who challenge you spiritually and professionally. You'll hear stories about how being held accountable and tapping into peer groups can dramatically change your trajectory.

Balancing Material and Spiritual Success. There’s a strong thread about connecting your heart to your work, integrating service and passion, and understanding the role spirituality (specifically references to God and faith) plays in driving success and fulfillment.

It's time for a reality check: is your work taking over your personal life? For a long time, I parked my equipment at home, but it created an atmosphere where my family felt like my landscaping business was everywhere, all the time. You gotta make a clean separation between house and home.

Where do you park your trucks and trailers? Let the community know in the comments below! We all want to read your tips on what works for you and get value from each other.

Came back from my wedding anniversary vacation to a worst-case scenario: Both my landscape trailers were broken into and about $4,500 worth of my two-cycle equipment and hand tools is gone.

I had deadbolt locks, a 2x4 secured with over 20 screws, and they still managed to pry their way in.

They took the brand new combi system, trimmers, my new ECHO chainsaw, and top-handle saws. This is a tough pill to swallow, but we gotta keep moving. Watch this to see my initial reaction and a look at the damage.

What's the best anti-theft tip you've learned the hard way? Drop it in the comments! 👇

ALL success guru's talk about growing and scaling your business.

But NONE of them address the
ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM !

And...

I'm sick of it.

They repeat the same line...
"Implement systems, grow your team"

But why aren't ANY of them addressing the
ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM??

Even the best coaches out here... it's almost like they're purposely ignoring the ELEPHANT.

Can anyone guess what the ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM is??

I'll give you a hint...

It's the THE NUMBER ONE MOST Important thing, that.... WITHOUT it... you literally CANNOT Grow your business.

Which is so weird to me why no one ever mentions it..

What's is it?? 👇👇

Stop letting heavy gear wear you out!

I'm breaking down how I trim shrubs faster and smarter, and reaching those high spots without a ladder. I’ll show you my secret weapon, the Milwaukee battery-powered pole shears (they're a lifesaver for your shoulders!).

Double tap if your shoulders feel this pain 😫.

Ever get stuck doing extra work you didn't agree to? You might be leaving holes open in your personal boundaries or loops open in your business that cause potential stress.

When you're doing a job, like pulling all the weeds and fixing the edging, make sure you specify exactly what's included. Saying you're doing "this one garden bed in back" means you are not doing the others.

Don't rely on implied agreement; use expressed agreement by speaking it and writing it down. You do exactly what was spoken and written down.

Be clear, be specific, and close those loops! You might think it's obvious, but your client could make up a story and think you're doing all the garden beds on the entire property. Sometimes, a client just wants that one job done, and you need to specify it to protect your time and business.
