πŸ‘ We would like to recognize Isabelle Olivas for her outstanding presentation at the Sterling School Board Meeting as part of her Girl Scouts Cadet project!

Isabelle conducted research and developed a thoughtful presentation advocating for additional opportunities for students to participate in elective classes. She shared evidence highlighting how involvement in electives can positively impact not only students' academic success, but also their social-emotional well-being, engagement, and sense of belonging at school.

The Board was very receptive to her research and ideas, and Isabelle represented herself, her project, and our students with professionalism, confidence, and poise. We are incredibly proud of the hard work she put into this project and the meaningful contribution she made to the conversation about student opportunities.

Great job, Isabelle! Your voice, leadership, and dedication to improving education for students are truly inspiring. 🌟
