I just wanted to pass along some info on a theatre production auditions coming up. StageWorks production company contacted us to announce their first large musical of the season, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s beloved original musical Cinderella. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, January 11 and Thursday, January 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Leominster City Hall, 25 Main Street, Leominster, MA. The production fee is $40 per person with a maximum cap of $100 per family. The production is open to all ages 5 and up.
Per their request, all actors must be fully vaccinated. No exceptions (unless the child is to young to receive it)

Looing for more ways to help support breast cancer research? The Sterling Police Department is fundraising through October as well!
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Sterling Police Association is once again participating in the Pink Patch Project by selling special pink police patches. All proceeds will again be donated to Dana Farber Cancer Institute - Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers.
Beginning Friday October 1 and running through October 31, 2021, the limited number of patches are being offered on a first-come basis for a donation of $10.00 .Payment is requested in either cash or check made out to "Sterling Police Association."
No calls to reserve patches PLEASE!!!! The patches can be purchased at the Sterling Police Department while supplies last. Dispatchers /on duty personnel will assist. Patience may be needed if personnel are on high priority matters.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
The Sterling Post Office is selling Breast Cancer Awareness stamps for $0.75 each/$15.00 per sheet. Of that, $0.17 per stamp/$3.40 per sheet goes directly to breast cancer research (no administrative fees deducted).
Last year in the month of October, the Postal Service raised $422,662.24 from stamp sales. Sterling alone raised $1,919.00! Help fund the cure and top last year's donation. Stamps are available at the Post Office now!

A message from the Town of Sterling's Animal Control Officer!
According to the Town of Sterling's animal control bylaws, the deadline for dog licensing is April 15 of each calendar year. After the deadline, there is a $25.00 late fee per dog added to your licensing fee. Therefore, starting the week of May 10, when you license your dog/dogs there will be a $25.00 late fee per dog added to your licensing fee.
