This week’s 106.3 The River’s Dee Jay’s BBQ Ribs & Grille High School Athlete of the Week is Steubenville Big Red boys basketball player Santino Haney! Santino scored 21 points, had six rebounds, six steals and five assists over Minerva. He had 29 points, six assists, three steals and two rebounds against Wheeling Central and Santino scored 19 points, had six assists, six rebounds and four steals in a win over Toronto. Santino receives a plaque from Tri-Area Trophies in Weirton, a Dee Jay’s gift card and he is invited to the Dee Jay’s Athlete of the Week banquet in June. This week’s 106.3 The River’s Dee Jay’s BBQ Ribs & Grille High School Athlete of the Week is Harrison Central wrestler Knox McKibben! Knox won the 215 pound title at the Doan Ford Invitational in Barnesville with a 9-0 victory in the championship match. Knox receives a Dee Jay’s gift card and a plaque from Tri-Area Trophies in Weirton. Congratulations to Knox McKibben from 106.3 The River!

This week’s 106.3 The River’s Dee Jay’s BBQ Ribs & Grille High School Athlete of the Week is Kaydence Walker of the Indian Creek girls’ basketball team. In a win over Brooke Monday Kaydence scored 23 points. She scored 27 points Thursday over Harrison Central and Saturday Kaydence scored 28 points and had 12 rebounds in a win over Weir High. Kaydence receives a Dee Jay’s gift card and a plaque from Tri-Area Trophies in Weirton. Congratulations to Kaydence Walker from 106.3 The River!
