Thinking about writing a screenplay? Not sure where to begin? Start at COC in our Scriptwriting Fundamentals course (MEA 108).
Enrolling in our class is the inciting incident that will take you over the threshold of your comfort zone and put you on a journey where you will learn all about storytelling, screenwriting, and Hollywood. In the process, you will overcome your limitations to rise up to face your storytelling fears and emerge victorious as a screenwriter.
Our College of the Canyons Screenwriting class is a fast-paced, 100% online with no textbooks. Furthermore, our class is one of the only publicly accessible screenwriting classes taught by a professional screenwriter (Ron Mita).
This fall, we have two sections of Screenwriting offered (MEA 108). The first section starts in late August and ends in early December. That class is almost full, so hurry up and enroll now.
We also have a section that will start in mid-October and end in early December. Same class, same materials, same instructor, just a faster pace. We have openings in that class, but expect it to fill up fast once the fall semester begins.
