The Eastern Shore has its own version of “kinda chic”…⚓️✨

Boat days, dock bars, crushes by the water, sunset chasing, local love, vineyards on the bay, picking crabs for hours and planning your entire weekend around the weather. 🌅🦀🍹

It may not be everyone’s definition of chic… but around here it’s ours and us shore folks love it🌾

When you find something you LOVE… you don’t gatekeep it…you BRING YOUR FRIENDS with you 🙌🔥🧊

If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve been loving my time at Silent Recovery Silent Recovery HC Therapy and incorporating hot + cold contrast therapy into my routine for both the mental AND physical benefits.

After talking about it nonstop for the past month 😂, I finally brought a friend along for a little sweat, plunge & catch-up session!

She was new to the cold plunge and absolutely CRUSHED IT. 👏🥶 We started in the infrared sauna, chatting and catching up while we were ✨glistening✨ (because we don’t say sweating 😂), then headed straight into the cold plunge.

Here’s how we skip grocery stores and restaurant waits on vacation. Stop in Chesapeake Chefs Market & Catering ! 👨🏻‍🍳🛍️

One of my favorite mom hacks is stopping by Chesapeake Chefs Market before we head to the beach or out on the boat!

I’ve been grabbing their fresh, gourmet meals for boat days 🛥️, and now they’ve become a must for our beach trips too⛱️

Their chicken and shrimp salads make the BEST sandwiches for the pool or beach, and their ready-to-go meals are perfect for dinner after a long day in the sun. No grocery store runs, no meal prep, no waiting in long restaurant lines just fresh, delicious food that’s ready when you are.

There’s just something about having a great local bike shop. 🚲💙 paul lombardo Bike Doctor Kent Island

With the beautiful weather, my daughter and I decided it was time to get our bikes ready for the season, so we stopped by Bike Doctor for a tune-up before hitting the Kent Island Trail.

Knowing our brakes, tires, and everything else were checked over by experts gave me so much peace of mind before riding with my girls.

Of course, while we were there, my daughter fell in love with a new bike…and unlike ordering online and hoping it’s the right fit, she was able to see it in person, test ride it, ask questions, and find the perfect bike for her.
That’s something you just can’t get with a box on your doorstep.
Plus, they handled everything right there in the shop, and we even received free delivery service!

We celebrated with a ride to Starbucks and spent the afternoon making memories instead of staring at screens.

Supporting a local bike shop means you’re not just buying a bike, you’re getting expert advice, personalized service, professional tune-ups, and a team that’s there long after you leave the store.

Mom’s Day on the Bay ⛵️☀️⚓️

The Local Moms Network had a great day on the Chesapeake Bay thanks to Chronic Sailing and their amazing crew. They welcomed us and our “Big Mama” visiting from out of town, for a beautiful 4 hour cruise from Annapolis toward Baltimore and across to the Eastern Shore.

We got to soak in the views, talk about motherhood, business, life, and most importantly, celebrate the friendships we’ve built through this amazing community Local Moms Network .

We’re so grateful to the local businesses that helped make this day extra special…
