Adoptable Pets of the Week! ✨

Meet Daisy, Rizzo, Lilly, Pooter and Crypto!!

These cute babies are about 2 and a half months old. We believe they are Dingo/German Shepherd mixes. They currently range in weight from 8-14 pounds and will continue to grow. We think they will likely be around 40-50 pounds full grown.

Daisy, Rizzo and Lilly are girls. Pooter and Crytpo are boys. These pups are not currently staying at the shelter, they are in a foster home.

These pups are very smart, active and vocal! We don’t think they would do great in an apartment given the way they like to express their feelings. They would love having a yard to run and play in! They get along well with one another and likely wouldn’t mind having other dogs in their future homes. We have no idea what they think about cats.

In their foster home where they are used to the routine, they are already good about going potty outside. We know with continued training, patience and proper exercise, these pups will shape up to be awesome dogs for their future families! The girls are spayed. The boys are neutered.

They are all up-to-date on vaccines and started on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Their adoption fees are $85 each.

Adoptable Pet of the Week! ✨

Meet Leela!!

This sweet girl is about a year and a half old. Leela came to us with an old injury to her eye. We aren’t entirely sure what happened, but we suspect it was an ulcer that ruptured. Thanks to our friends at perkins_road_pet_clinic she was able to receive the necessary surgeries to reach max comfort and continue on with her life.

Leela is a shy girl who is still working to gain the trust of humans. So far she has come a long way from the first day we got her, however, she still has a long ways to go!! Leela likes soft pets on her head and chin scratches. She’s not a big fan of being pet on her body quite yet, but we think with proper TLC and a safe environment to call her own, she will flourish into her full personality!!

The one true way to Leela’s heart is through a Churu treat pouch!! She has lived with many other cats before. We think she wouldn’t be fond of super playful cats. But would likely be fine to live with another mellow cat who doesn’t pay her much attention. She would probably like a home with no dogs. Or super mellow dogs who don’t pay her much attention.

Leela is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adoption fee is $30.

Adoptable Pet of the Week! ✨
Meet Phoebe!!

This happy girl is about 5 years old. We believe she is a Boxer mix of some kind. She currently weighs about 41 pounds and is done growing, if anything she will get a bit stockier.

Phoebe can be a little shy and standoffish when it comes to meeting new people. She is a girl who needs to know she can trust you and feel comfortable with you before her full personality blossoms! Once she trusts you she will always greet you with a a great big smile and the cutest wiggle butt there ever was!

Phoebe loves hard and is loyal as ever to those she trusts! She has had a few playmates here at the shelter and really seems to mold to the personality of whatever dog she’s around. With a proper introduction, we think Phoebe would enjoy having a playmate in her future home! We have no idea what she thinks about cats. While we all love Phoebe dearly, we know her having a family of her own that can spoil her endlessly would make her happy beyond words!

Phoebe is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.

Adoptable Pet of the Week! ✨

Meet Dale!! Dale is our longest term dog. He is about 3 years old. We believe be is a Border Collie mix of some kind. He currently weighs about 50 pounds and is done growing.

Dale is a very smart, active boy! His favorite thing in the whole wide world is a ball. If you’ve visited him at the shelter, you’ve probably seen his collection that he keeps in his kennel at all times because 10 is never enough!!

Dale would love to have a home where he can participate in some type of agility activities or even going for a run, a bike ride, a hike, etc. He is not a lazy couch potato, or apartment dog.

He would thrive off having a yard or some type of land to run on and it’s an added bonus is someone wants to play fetch for hours on end. Dale has had a couple playmates at the shelter. He himself is a little dominant and confident. He definitely needs to be the one in charge!

We don’t think he would do well with cats as he has a high play/chase drive. We know Dale’s perfect home is out there and he is eager as ever to discover it!
