**Just to make it known incase it happens to one of you!
My mom called me this morning a little rattled asking if I was ok. She had a phone call that had a female crying in the back ground saying she messed up and was in trouble. and then a man's voice got on the line saying they had her daughter and was going to hurt her unless they paid them.
She hung up and called us. Everyone was fine. Then about 30 minutes after that they called me. Same thing. Female crying in the background and then a mans voice. Sounded real. They hung up as soon as I handed my phone to T. We already knew it was a scam. They called my dad after and told him they knew he had a son named J and then mentioned K name. They were pretty convincing. People are sick. Just want my friends and family to be aware of this scam. More than likely they would ask for gift cards or wire transfer.
(PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A FAKE POST JUST CIRCLING SOCIAL MEDIA. I KNOW THE PERSON PERSONALLY THAT THIS HAPPENED TO. I WAS GIVEN PERMISSION OFF HER PERSONAL FACEBOOK TO POST THIS.)

We shared this story back in 2019 from a missing cowboy in Nebraska/Wyoming which is a family friend. This is the news we got this morning. We pray for answers soon. We will update soon as we know more.
Early this morning (10-11-25) our family was contacted by Law Enforcement officials in Scottsbluff County. We were informed of a discovery that may be related to the disappearance of Chance.

At this critical juncture, we need to emphasize that there is no positive identification or additional evidence to confirm that the individual is Chance.

We ask the entire "Chance's Army" community for your patience and respect during this time. Please allow Law Enforcement to conduct their thorough investigation. Our family is waiting for official confirmation and further information from the authorities.

We ask for your prayers as we wait, hoping that this discovery brings closure, whether for our family or for another family searching for their missing loved one.
