These old buses were kept out of junkyards and now create fresh produce and clean oxygen instead of harmful emissions!

Greenhouses are an excellent way to extend the growing season and protect crops from harsh weather, but they can typically rack up quite a cost.

Doni Rae Franklin had the perfect idea to take her harvest on wheels without breaking the bank!

Old school buses can be purchased relatively cheap, and with a little bit of DIY she was able to convert 2 of them into some pretty serious greenhouses.

The smaller bus still drives, allowing her to bring fresh produce right to the farmers market, no bus pass required!

As herbalists, our work revolves around plants, so it is important we use plants in a wise manner—protecting and preserving them with their long-term viability in mind, not just for our sakes, but for the sake of the plant and the ecosystem. We must ask ourselves if we truly need the plant we’re considering using and we must help others understand this importance, too.🌸
