200 Miles • 12 Strangers • 2 Vans • 48 hours….what could go wrong?!😑
Honestly, A LOT…but so much more can go right! 🤩 Hood to Coast was the toughest race that I took on this year. Not because of the running or the mileage, but because of the unknown….and boy did we face A LOT of unknowns😩 BUT it did not take us long to adapt, work as a team, and overcome. That is truly the beauty of putting yourself out there to try new experiences. I walked away from this relay sore, hungry, and sleep deprived; but with such a FULL HEART + 11 new friendships - thank you !🥹🙌🏾
One of the many reasons that I am so grateful to be a .🙏🏾🫶🏾
Call me crazy but I absolutely canNOT wait to run down that mountain again!🤞🏾😎🧡

This time last year, I started this love affair with 13.1. I say love affair, because the ultimate goal was to never fall out of love with running as I moved the finish line. Oh what a beautiful journey it has been!🥰

In 2024, I made a promise to myself that for my 40th birthday *2025*, I would run a half marathon. (I had been saying I was going to for the past two years, but would back out - due to fear *health❤️‍🩹*.)

In 2025, I set three goals :
· Run my 1st Half Marathon ✔️
· Run 5 Half Marathons in 2025 ✔️
🏅Atlanta Publix Half Marathon
🏅Nashville Rock N Roll
🏅Brooklyn Half * Thank you *
🏅Area 13.1 Half Marathon
🏅Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon
· Fall in love with 13.1 ✔️

Not only did I run a half marathon, but I have truly spent 2025 falling in love with 13.1.
I have so much love and respect for the distance, even throughout the Atlanta hills.🥴 For me, it is so important to truly learn and love something before moving on to the next. So many times people would ask, “why don’t you run a marathon “ and I would always tell them how much I loved this distance. 2025 was the year of 13.1 for me. I don’t think I will ever let her go from 1st, but
2026 will move the finish line here and there.😉

If you have not already, set your goals for 2026 and don’t stop until you achieve them.
You CAN do it, if you get out of your own way. I believe in YOU!🙏🏾🫶🏾
