π 6 Easy Chicken Noodle Recipesπ€€
1οΈβ£ CHICKEN CHOW MEIN
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, strips (marinated in 1 tbsp soy sauce + 1 tsp cornstarch)
8 oz Chow Mein noodles, cooked
2 cups cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, julienned
2 green onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
Sauce: 1/4 cup oyster sauce, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp sugar, 1/4 cup chicken broth
Method:
Sear marinated chicken in a wok/skillet until cooked. Remove.
SautΓ© garlic, cabbage, and carrots for 3 mins.
Add noodles, cooked chicken, and sauce mixture back to the pan.
Toss on high heat for 2 mins until coated. Top with green onions.
2οΈβ£ SPICY CHICKEN NOODLES
Ingredients:
1 lb ground chicken
8 oz Ramen noodles, cooked
1 tbsp ginger, grated + 3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups baby spinach
Sauce: 2 tbsp chili oil, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp Sriracha
Method:
Whisk sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Brown ground chicken in a skillet. Add garlic/ginger; cook 1 min.
Add spinach until wilted.
Toss in cooked noodles and the sauce. Mix well and serve!
3οΈβ£ CHICKEN PAD THAI
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, sliced
8 oz flat rice noodles (soaked in warm water until pliable)
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup bean sprouts + 3 green onions
1/4 cup crushed peanuts
Sauce: 3 tbsp fish sauce, 3 tbsp brown sugar, 3 tbsp tamarind paste (or lime juice), 1 tbsp soy sauce
Method:
Cook chicken in a wok until golden. Remove.
Scramble eggs in the same pan.
Add noodles and sauce. Toss constantly until soft (add splash of water if needed).
Add chicken, bean sprouts, and onions. Toss 1 min. Top with peanuts.
4οΈβ£ CLASSIC CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast (cooked/shredded)
2 cups dry egg noodles
1 cup each: carrots, celery, onion (diced)
6 cups chicken broth
1 tsp thyme, 1 tsp parsley, 1 bay leaf
Salt & pepper
Method:
SautΓ© onion, carrots, and celery in butter until soft.
Add broth and herbs. Bring to a boil.
Add noodles and simmer 8-10 mins until tender.
Stir in cooked chicken, heat through, and remove bay leaf.
5οΈβ£ GARLIC BUTTER CHICKEN NOODLES
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast cubes (seasoned with salt/garlic powder)
8 oz spaghetti or egg noodles, cooked
4 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Parsley
Method:
Sear seasoned chicken in 1 tbsp butter until cooked. Remove.
Melt remaining butter in pan, add garlic, and cook 1 min.
Add noodles and chicken back in. Toss to coat.
Remove from heat, stir in parmesan and parsley.
6οΈβ£ TERIYAKI CHICKEN NOODLES
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken thighs, chopped
8 oz Udon noodles, cooked
1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
Sauce: 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1 garlic clove, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with water)
Method:
Simmer sauce ingredients until thickened. Set aside.
Sear chicken in a skillet until browned. Add steamed broccoli.
Pour sauce over chicken/broccoli to glaze.
Toss in noodles until coated. Top with sesame seeds.
