From celebrity areas and line control to cosplay, hospitality, panels, makeup FX, and convention operations, volunteers help bring the horror to life every year. We are now accepting applications for Sinister Creature Con 2026.

● Must be 18+
● Valid ID required
● Complete volunteer application
● Availability for assigned shifts
● Positive, professional attitude

Volunteer applications for Sinister Creature Con 2026 have officially been UPDATED with shift scheduling and volunteer team selections! 🎃

If you have already signed up to volunteer, please take a moment to complete the updated form so we can better coordinate scheduling, operations, setup, after party coverage, and venue reset throughout convention weekend.

The updated form allows volunteers to:
👻Select preferred shifts
👻 Choose volunteer team interests
👻 Help coordinate setup, convention operations & venue reset
🎬 Improve volunteer scheduling and communication

All volunteers are asked to select a minimum of TWO shifts during convention weekend, though additional shifts are always appreciated.

Whether you’re a returning volunteer or joining the Sinister crew for the first time, we seriously appreciate everyone helping bring the convention to life behind the scenes. 🖤

Back to where it all started… 👀

We watched Scream 7 and I actually really enjoyed it.
It gave me those same vibes as the first one back when I was in high school—

a little nostalgic, a little tense, and a lot of “wait… who is it?!”

The kills were creative, the story held up, and it kept me guessing.
My rating: 8/10 🔪
Drew… wasn’t as sold on it 😅

Still, for me? Worth it just for the throwback feel.

Another movie we watched: They Will Kill You… and WOW.

Think Kill Bill meets Evil Dead—
stylized chaos, over-the-top moments, and a story that actually keeps you hooked.
Super creative, visually fun, and just the right amount of unhinged.

Our rating: 10/10 🔥

Definitely not for the faint of heart… but if you’re into bold, cinematic madness, it delivers.
