All set up at Surf City Comic-Con, with new stuff!

We have a new Astromech droid! R6-L30 was con crunched just to premiere here at this show!

R6 does not have drive motors yet... But she does have all her lights, we will have them on and blinking tomorrow.

It's the first of April, and in the USA, that is also April Fool's Day. Some people like to play pranks, or just be really silly, I like to make goofy videos for that day. This year is slightly different...

This year's video is a time lapse of 24 hours in my shop.

But it's ALSO a teaser for an upcoming video build series! I am working with Shop Gremlin to make an Astromech droid. An R2-D2 style droid- but different, and not one from the movies.

It's always enjoyable to help others with their cosplay repair needs, and keep everyone enjoying their cosplay at the con.

I do know it is a wasteland wanderer style of prop, and it's something that they sent out to me because of a new teaching site they have started called The Forge!

Day 2 of Kaboom Con in Carson City Nevada!

Yesterday I had my Odin Makes LIVE demo where I was onstage and in front of a live audience while making a set of Ecto Goggles from EVA foam!

I had a blast working the demo, and I really appreciate the crew at the Carson City Community Center for helping me with my wireless microphone and video assist of what I was doing on the table, so the audience could see what the heck I was doing!

Thank you for getting me such a great place to do my first full 2 hour demo of how I make something!

Now to make a video about it too...
