BREAKING: HAIR WE GO AGAIN?! Trump suddenly emerges with a bizarre new DARK ’DO – and the internet goes wild over his latest follicular folly!
Donald Trump has apparently embarked on another sweeping transformation – this one involving his legendary combover.
The president emerged at Morristown Airport Friday with his famously yellowish locks looking decidedly less golden and considerably more ... brown.
“What in the world is going on with Trump's hair?” journalist Aaron Rupar asked, sharing a Jim Watson/AFP photo of the mysterious new coiffure.
The internet immediately got snippy.
One commenter saw Moe Howard from the Three Stooges (and now we can’t unsee it!).
Another dug up an old Hair Club for Men ad. Someone else wondered whether Trump had tariffed the country that makes his usual hair supplies. And inevitably, somebody shopped a bird's nest into it.
All of which might be dismissed as another bad hair day if Trump's follicles hadn't been providing their own running subplot lately.
Last month, his suddenly fuller-looking hair prompted another round of internet speculation.
Then, just days ago, Trump himself unexpectedly raised the subject and insisted: “I don't wear a wig.” Nobody had asked.
We certainly don't know what caused Friday's new look. Hair dye? Styling product? Lighting? A particularly ambitious comb? Natalie's idea? (Sorry.)
Presidential privilege protects many secrets, and apparently some of them are follicular.
But after a decade of that unmistakable yellow-blond swoop, the new brunette Trump is genuinely startling. Perhaps the explanation is perfectly ordinary.
Or perhaps the famous combover has simply had it after all these years – it's time to dye with dignity.
